Professional Experience
Don Campbell is one of the firm’s founders and the senior attorney in the firm. He and Rex Mounger commenced the practice of law together as partners in 1988, and when attorney Mounger retired in 1996, Don moved the office to Wimberley. Daughter, Carrie Campbell became his law partner in 1997. The firm has grown to include partner Michael Floreani, associate attorney Christopher Bean, and a professional staff.

The emphasis of Don Campbell’s work has been the representation of individual clients and small businesses. The focus is a natural, since his formative years were in Texas communities where his father, an ordained minister for more than 50 years, was the pastor of churches. In that environment, the needs of individuals who had suffered misfortune and of families in crisis were influential. Don’s parents proudly proclaim, “He has always been for the underdog.”

Don Campbell is experienced in civil litigation, personal injury claims, real estate issues, will and estate contests, consumer debt liquidation and reorganization, and social security disability claims. His passion for the needs of the “little guy” has resulted in his litigating many cases where serious injury or death resulted from willful or careless negligence.

Education

Prior to earning his Doctorate in Jurisprudence, Don was awarded a B.A., in Political Science. He has met the educational, experiential, and personal integrity qualifications to be certified by the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals as the Municipal Judge of the Village of Wimberley.
Don is admitted to practice in:
United States Supreme Court
The Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals
The United States Claims Court,
The United States District Courts for the Eastern, Western and Southern Districts of Texas.

Other Activities

Don is committed to the best quality of life possible in the Wimberley community and has a busy civic life. He is a current member of the Board of Directors and Past President of the Wimberley Lions Club, Chairman of the Board of the Wimberley Chamber of Commerce and Visitor’s Bureau, and counsels with many nonprofit organizations. He has been a member of the “Pro Bono Bar” of the State Bar of Texas since 1995, an organization that recognizes members who provide outstanding contributions to low-income Texans.

Personal

Born and raised in Texas, Don is proud to live in Wimberley with his wife, Iris, and is delighted that both of their children, and their three grandchildren also live in the community.
